Want to experience what Virginia Beach EMS is like? Do a ride-along with Davis Corner Volunteer Rescue Squad! Before you consider a ride along read the below information:
Each duty is a 12 hour shift. 6A.M. to 6P.M. or 6P.M. to 6A.M. You can leave at any time during the shift, (except when you and the crew are on a call) but it is encouraged to stay the whole duty to experience what rescue is like.
Ride-along personnel sees everything the crew sees. If there is something that you feel you cannot handle seeing, just inform AIC (Attendant In Charge) and we will make arrangements.
If there are any special considerations for ride along personnel, inform the Operations Lieutenant or Captain and they can make arrangements.
